Agnes Waters – QLD

What a drive between Cania Gorge and Agnes Waters. There was a “Road” connecting the 2 but it was pretty much one lane dirt the whole way. We passed many signs saying “not suitable for caravans and trailers” but of course we ignored that and kept going once we saw a horse float coming through…. lol.

We stayed at Agnes Waters beach holidays, a park right on the beach with easy sand access, a cafe and a playground next door.

Seeing the beach again was great after a week in the bush. We spent 5 days here playing on the beach, doing the local walks and watching the sunset everyday on the sand. We also did the 1770 LARC tour, a vehicle that can drive on the road/sand and the water! The paperbark trail is a fun short walk through bridges and stepping platforms.
