The island is just off Victor Harbor, connected by a pedestrian bridge, you can walk over or catch the Horse Drawn Tram. Once on the island there’s no cafe so bring a picnic. We spent about an hour walking around the island paths, we didn’t spot any penguins but did get to watch some rock climbers scale the tallest rock on the island, pretty cool.
