Perlubie Beach – SA
Unfortunately we did not get beach weather for our scheduled stay at perlubie. This is a ‘camp on the sand’ beach, easy road onto the beach, flushing toilets, about $10 a night. We settled for a bbq on the beach

Wudinna – SA
Winner of best showgrounds stay goes to Wudinna! Just before Kimba heading east is this great little town with an amazing park. They have jumping pillow, pump track, splash pad, playground, exercise equipment and GRASS! Across the road is the

Pildappa Rock – SA
It’s a unique pink inselberg located 15 kilometres northeast of Minnipa on the Eyre Peninsular. We were able to climb up on top and check out the view, pretty cool. You can also free camp here around the base. #pildapparock

Warren Gorge – SA
Our first taste of the Flinders Ranges was Warren Gorge. After a huge drive across the state we made it just in time for sunset. The drive in was beautiful, watching the ranges getting closer. We setup here for 2

Kimba- Half Way Across Australia
We stopped into Kimba for lunch on our way across the top of South Australia, most things were closed but the servo were serving hot lunches. There’s another sign further down the road with info about the halfway point, but

The Flinders Ranges – SA
We spent 4 days up in the Flinders Ranges, basing ourselves at Wilpena Pound Resort camping area. The highlight was the Razor Back lookout and Wilpena Pound. We visited just after the rain and the roads through the Brachina Gorge

Kanyaka Homested Ruins – SA
These ruins are one of the many stone buildings abandoned in the Flinders Ranges. This was the largest homested we saw, they lived in an amazing, harsh environment. #kanyakahomesteadhistoricsite #flindersranges #southaustralia

Welcome to the Outback, we’re heading north!
After some freezing days in the Flinders (seriously felt like it was going to have frost in the morning), we’re heading up the middle of Australia. Let’s chase that warmer weather! #welcometotheoutback #australia
