Wow what a wonderland this place is! The sinkhole was once a typical limestone cave, then over time the roof collapsed. The Umpherston Sinkhole was made into a garden by James Umpherston in 1886.
The garden is free to visit, and you can also return at night to feed the resident possums fruit. Amazing, we loved it!
